Scan and Go is a self-service feature for visitors to scan the barcode they have received pre-event to collect a badge. You will need a compatible barcode scanner connected to Check-in to use this feature.
When Check-in is in this mode, there is no other function available – simply scan the barcode and the badge is printed.
If a visitor needs any details amended, then this must be done by a member of staff using the Service Centre mode.
Configuration
You must have a compatible barcode scanner connected to your Check-in.
When you launch the Scan & Go option, you are prompted to choose the badge design to use from this Check-in. These badge designs can be configured in Visit Create.
You may also enter a location. If you have an event with multiple entrances, it is useful to record who arrived at which entrance. Your list of locations can be managed in Visit Create, or you can add an additional location in Check-in using the button.
