Visit Connect

Engagement tools

The possibility of assigning staff to a meeting request for the company has been extended to all registered team members, regardless of whether they have the Meetings permission or not. The purpose of this is that staff with the Meetings permission can receive individual meeting requests, while admins can choose to assign any team member to a meeting. However, only those who do have the Meetings permission enabled will be visible in Discover.

Renamed tiles

In order to make them more relevant to users, some of the tiles in Discover have been renamed as follows:

  • Upcoming Activities – What’s On
  • Personal Calendar – My Calendar
  • Get to know the event – Event info
  • Badge – My Badge

Service Centre

We’ve changed the name of the Onsite Actions tab to Actions to more accurately represent its functionality across various event formats, including hybrid events.

Remote print from Check-in

A new remote print feature has been added to the Service Center, which allows printing of multiple documents at a time using Check-in. Go to Service Center > Visitors > Action > Print remote > Select Check-in terminal. The selected Check-in will display a confirmation dialog when print job is waiting, starting print or is being cancelled.

Shop

We’ve added the option to set a Tax Class as default. This will automatically prefill the VAT value when creating new shop items.

New supported printer and Autocut function

We’ve added Zebra GX420D as a supported printer and a new Autocut function for Zebra printer templates. This also allows you to adjust cutter offset to fit your type of badge-paper. This option is only available for newly created documents and is not available for documents created before Visit 5.5 release.

Limit Visit Connect questions & products

You now have the ability to set a limit, per partner, on how many questions and products they can add in Visit Connect.

You can set a default for the event (usually set to unlimited for most events). For each partner you can override this with a set number. Managing the questions/products in Visit Connect will then respect this number.
