New look & feel for all Visit Apps

Starting the 11th of October, Visit applications have a new look and feel aimed at reflecting our new brand identity and improving user experience.

Exhibitors can now enjoy a more streamlined onboarding process across all mobile devices.

To ensure better interaction for organisers, exhibitors, and attendees alike, we have improved the UI/UX on all Visit applications.

New Application Names

We have updated the names of all our apps to match these changes:

• Visit becomes Create – where organisers can find all the right tools to execute their smart events, collect valuable data, and engage participants.
• Visit Connect becomes Connect – the lead capture and content sharing application for smarter and happier exhibitors.
• Visitor Portal becomes Discover – the space where visitors can network, learn, and collect valuable content.

Service Centre

• We have added the option to stop or remove all or selected queued emails. This is to help users who might accidentally send the wrong emails. Go to Service Centre > Email Overview.
• Organisers now have the option to delete visitors’ sensitive data, such as ID or passport photos under Service Centre > Visitors > Actions > Document bulk delete. This can be done for individual visitors or for all visitors at once.
• We have added emails to the Partner Advanced Filters in the Service Centre. This enables querying of partners based on received emails.

API

Now you can trigger emails based on registration type (excluding Partner staff) via the API. The correct Registration Type email template can be selected based on the rules in Create and relies on the template itself being created first.

API now allows for images being pulled from external sources to be stored as part of the profile/ID photo. This can be used in the Forms sub-section under the Upload Photo option.

Connect

You can automatically add scan licenses for all partners with a specific registration type by simply ticking a checkbox. You can also set up unlimited or a pre-defined activation count. Please note that adding Connect licenses will incur additional costs, remember to check with your account manager regarding costs per license or per unlimited licenses before adding new ones.

Rules

We have added a Rules library on event level which allows users to reuse/share them in different places across Create. Go to Event > Rules. Rules can be added, edited and deleted from here.

You can also set up rules within rules, meaning you can define more advanced rules based on pre-existing ones. You can also set up Conditions based on Partner criteria, such as Company Name, Booth, Registration type, and Tag.

Time zone

You can now can specify in what time zone all times in Create should be displayed, and see which time zone was used, as a tooltip, when hovering over the displayed time. (i.e. Service Center/Visitor list, Visitor details/Orders etc).

Improvements

• Forms – We have added a “Login with email” section to the landing page of the Create form, where registrants can enter their email address to receive their confirmation again.
• Organisation – A notification will be sent out 7 days before an organisation subscription expires.
• Service Centre – Phone Number fields have been added to the Seminars export, thus generating richer data for both organisers and participating partners.
• Dynamic fields – Added 2 new dynamic fields: #order_individual_price# that shows only the price of the tickets and #order_individual_price_scheme# with the price scheme name of the purchased ticket(s).
• API – Create now supports updating Partner tags via the API.
• Onsite – Access Control and Scan & Go rules: we have updated the settings so that the Location filter only appears when these two conditions are selected: (a) Category is set to Special and (b) Fields are set to either Visitor scans or Partner scans.
